Calming Your Mind · 7 days

Overcoming Panic

You want to understand how panic traps you and build the skills to face it without letting fear dictate what you can do.

Learn how panic works in your body, why avoidance makes it worse, and how to break the fear cycle. By the end, you'll have concrete tools to face panic and start reclaiming the situations it's taken from you.

Where it goes

Over seven days, you'll learn why panic feeds on avoidance and how to interrupt the loop at each stage. By the end, you'll have practiced the moves that actually break the cycle: noticing your thoughts, staying with the sensations, and gently expanding what you're willing to do.

The approach

CBT + Somatic / Polyvagal

The journey teaches you to challenge catastrophic thinking (day 2) and work directly with the body's alarm response (days 3, 4, 5), which is how panic actually unwinds.

KindMind is an online journal with tools for self-discovery and growth. We draw on these approaches because they hold up well in self-guided work. This is not treatment, and it is not a substitute for working with a therapist or counselor when that is the right call.
